Community Hall.

Our community hall is perfect for hosting family events, small parties, meetings, classes, and a wide variety of other gatherings. 

 

The Lansdowne Hall is a renovated facility adjacent to our community league park and ice rink.

The hall has a wrap-around deck area with double glass doors opening into the main hall space.

Indoors, you will find a beautiful full-sized kitchen, plenty of open space, and bathroom facilities. 

Details:

  • Main hall space of 1084 square feet

  • 90 person maximum capacity

  • 3 hour rental minimum

  • $35/hr for Lansdowne Community League members
    $45/hr for non-members​

Rental includes access to:

  • Full kitchen facilities, stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge

  • 10 Rectangle tables that seat 6-8 people

  • Foldable tables and chairs (to be set up and taken down by renter)

  • Wifi

Lansdowne Community Hall Rental Guidelines

  • The Lansdowne Hall property is a cannabis-free zone. No smoking or vaping is allowed inside or on hall property.

  • All requests must complete an application inquiry form at least 30 days before the event date to provide sufficient time for a hall orientation with the volunteer hall rental coordinators.

  • ​Rental responsibilities/damage deposit and cost of rental will be clearly outlined in written agreement.*

  • Deposit is required to hold the date.

  • Damage deposit and full payment is due 7 days prior to the rental date.

  • All renters are required to organize min. $2,000,000. in liability coverage.**

  • All hall rental terms must be adhered to for the safety of tenants and security of our community hall.

  • Hall capacity is 90 people.  

  • The Edmonton Police Services are agents of our hall and may enter at any time.

 
  • $500  cash damage deposit - fully refundable if no cleaning needed or damage done.

  • $100 to hold the date - fully refundable up to 30 days before the rental date - non-refundable within 7 days of the date of the booking

  • $35/hr - min 3 hours - Lansdowne Community League members - must provide a current membership number

  • $45/hr - min 3 hours - non-Lansdowne Community League members

  • NO PINS OR TAPE ALLOWED ON THE WALLS

Lansdowne Parkland use Licenses for Special Events

Are you planning an event on a public park site this season? Get the required Parkland Event License for no charge from your Community Recreation Coordinator.

Not sure if you need a City of Edmonton Parkland Event License?

 

A license would be required for any exception to City of Edmonton Parkland Bylaw 2202, such as: 

  • Group gatherings of 50 or more people 

  • A ceremony (wedding, church service) 

  • Commercial entertainment such as Fireworks, horse‐drawn wagon/sleigh rides, hot air balloons, commercial photography, gaming/raffles, amusement rides, bouncy houses/inflatable play structures, petting zoo, outdoor music/stage, etc. 

  • Temporary food service and barbecue 

  • Liquor to serve or sell 

  • Portable toilets 

  • Model aircraft, rockets or other power‐assisted flying models 

  • Temporary fire pits 

  • Putting up temporary signage on parkland 

  • Vehicles driving across or parking on parkland
