Happy New Year!Welcome back to reality to those fortunate enough to have snuck away over the holiday break! 2023 seems to have a good ring to it, and I am looking forward to what it will bring our community. After the ball was dropped and the champagne was popped on New Year’s Eve (celebrated on Atlantic time, of course), I told myself I was not going to make any Resolutions this year – just set some Goals. Actually, I think I’ve been going about this wrong all along. Resolutions always seemed like something you had to do every day. “I will exercise every day this year.” “I will eat healthier every day this year.” “I will get more sleep every day this year.” Boom – resolution failed by January 5th. Oh well, there’s always 2024... But if I just make a goal to exercise more this year or eat healthier this year, well, now I’ve suddenly got a lot more time to make it happen! So if you’ve already made steps toward your goals for 2023, well done. I haven’t – but I’ve got eleven more months to work with. Cheers to building towards an even better Lansdowne in 2023!
